Dear Club Members
As we approach the holiday season we have several events scheduled to help everyone come together and celebrate the season.  One of our goals this year is to see more of our members that may have been unable to participate in group events because of transportation issues or mobility restrictions.  We're looking for people to join a telephone tree to help reach out to our membership. We are also looking for people interested in visiting members who may not be able to attend events and finding those members who would welcome MHC visitors.  Anyone interested in joining our Telephone Tree please contact Barbara Monks (408-997-8131).
We have our annual Holiday Lunch scheduled for December 3rd in Carmel. Please send in your RSVPs and reservation checks by November 14th (see details below). Anyone needing a ride or interested in carpooling can call Joanne Petersen (650-494-0470) and Barbara Monks (408-997-8131). There is also a book exchange for everyone on December 10th in San Jose if you don't make it to Carmel please do come to the book exchange. .

We also want to encourage everyone to pay your club dues for this year. We need your help to continue supporting our activities, the book awards and the college.  Annual dues are $20 for most; $10 if you graduated less than 5 years or more than 50 years ago.  Thank you for your support!  Please make your checks out to MHC Peninsula Club and send them to:
